These Terms & Conditions apply to all applications, invitations, ticket purchases and attendance at Lunaire events.

By applying, purchasing a ticket, or attending a Lunaire event, you agree to these Terms.

Throughout these Terms, “Lunaire”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the above entity.

2. Eligibility

Lunaire events are open to individuals aged 20 and above unless otherwise specified.

By applying or purchasing a ticket, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 20 years old

• The information you provide is accurate and truthful

• You are legally permitted to attend events in the UK

We reserve the right to request valid photo ID at entry.

3. Invitations & Curation

Lunaire events are invite-only.

Submitting an application does not guarantee an invitation.

Applications may be considered based on factors including:

  • Age and life stage

• Location and interests

• The overall composition and balance of the room

• The format and purpose of the specific event

We aim to create balanced, comfortable environments.

We do not unlawfully discriminate. Some events may be curated around specific age ranges or formats in order to foster shared life-stage compatibility.

4. Tickets, Payment & Refunds

By purchasing a ticket:

  • Tickets are non-transferable without prior written approval

• Tickets are generally non-refundable

However:

  • If Lunaire cancels an event, a full refund will be issued

• If an event is materially changed (e.g. significant date or venue change), you will be offered a refund or transfer option

• Refunds will be processed within 14 days where applicable

We reserve the right to cancel bookings where these Terms are breached.

5. Event Changes & Force Majeure

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to:

  • Venue

• Timing

• Hosts

• Format

We are not liable for cancellation, delay, or changes caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Government restrictions

• Venue closure

• Extreme weather

• Illness

• Transport disruption

• Events of force majeure

Where possible, we will offer transfer or rescheduling options.

6. Walks, Runs & Movement Events

For Lunaire Walks, Runs, or any movement-based event:

By attending, you confirm that:

  • You are physically fit and medically able to participate

• You participate at your own risk

• You are responsible for your own health and safety

Lunaire does not provide medical supervision or advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lunaire accepts no liability for injury arising from participation except where caused by our negligence.

You are responsible for appropriate footwear, hydration and awareness of surroundings.

7. Conduct & Atmosphere

We aim to create respectful, welcoming environments.

By attending, you agree:

  • To treat guests, hosts and venue staff with respect

• Not to engage in harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct

• Not to bring illegal substances

• Not to attend while excessively intoxicated

We reserve the right to remove any guest whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate.

No refund will be issued in such cases.

8. Photography & Media

Photography and video recording may take place at Lunaire events.

By attending, you acknowledge that you may appear in photography or video used for marketing and promotional purposes.

If you do not wish to appear in content, please inform a host on arrival and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.

9. Personal Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Your personal belongings

• Your own safety

• Your interactions with other guests

Lunaire does not conduct background checks on attendees.

Any connections formed during or after events are at your own discretion and responsibility.

10. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence

• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

• Any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law

Subject to the above, Lunaire shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential loss

• Emotional distress

• Loss of opportunity

• Financial loss arising from attendance

Our total liability shall not exceed the ticket price paid.

11. Communications

We may contact you regarding:

  • Your application

• Event details

• Booking confirmations

• Invitations

Marketing communications will only be sent where appropriate consent has been provided or where permitted under UK law.

You may unsubscribe at any time.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The latest version will always be published on our website.

By applying, purchasing a ticket or attending an event, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms.
